The VOH1016A series optocouplers are designed as a transmit/receive pair, comprising an efficient LED that is optically coupled to a detector equipped with a Schmitt trigger (output). This provides effective galvanic isolation of the circuits and digital data transmission at rates up to 1MBd.
These optocouplers are mainly applied in:
- microcontroller systems;
- serial data transmission;
- galvanic noise reduction in digital systems;
- signal level translation;
- input/output isolation in control systems, PLC, etc.
VOH1016AD-V & VOH1016AB-T optocouplers
The optocouplers can operate in a wide range of supply voltages (from 3V to 15V) and feature a digital standard compliant output. VDE compliant versions are also available.
